Interview 05:05
If you don’t believe them, you don’t have to believe it If they ask you to leave, you don’t have to leave it You can make up the rules; you don’t have to follow them Lie about your strength to get in the door Make up what you think they might want you to say Then you might be the hero at the end of day Rearrange, Rearrange

Robot Hearts 04:26
We’re moving right along In a straight line Like passenger cars holding hands Awash in the sound, we’re moving very fast But I’m not afraid with you in the lead Robot hearts are simple things They don’t give up Robot hearts are simple things They don’t give up Less conditional than most Robot hearts are simple things I’m strangely skilled Yet absent from all those trappings Of human hearts I won’t betray your trust or secrets… Robot hearts with human parts If you could see things how I see things You would not think I was so bright But I love you because I am programmed to If you were as simple, you would understand that I miss you Every day I miss you Every day I miss you Robot hearts can break

Sun rise looks different from space Video screen projects your beautiful face It’s all I've got but it doesn't take your place It’s all I've got We've gone Too long We've gone Too Long I’m out there Find me looking back down I’m out there Find me looking back down I’m out there Find me looking back down I’m out there Find me looking back down I’m out there Find me looking back down I’m out there Find me looking around…

Winter Saturday is the call sign Lost in space time But if you could see in my mind (it’s too distorted) We lost Winter Saturday (the trees all sing in my mind) We lost Winter Saturday Come in, Winter Saturday We lost Winter Saturday (it’s too distorted)

When you sleep, where do you go? High in mountains, mixed in with the snow, Down in the forest, unseen in the trees, Are you haunting the cellar, or are you with me? Where do you go? Rain will soothe your strong emotions I’ll protect you and see you through Rain will soothe your strong emotions Where do you go? When you dream, I’ll be dreaming with you To the ocean, down into the blue In the sunset, on the shore of your mind I’ll be with you until the end of time Until the end of time Until the end of time Until the end of time

Hey, remember me She said using words, I don’t understand My Spanish ain’t so good But neither is hers That smile is so real Remember Me Hey, remember me She said using words I don’t understand My Spanish ain’t so good But neither is hers That smile is so real Remember me, remember me Take your picture with my camera Please don’t forget me (Take it home) Remember me In the green mountain high, we don’t wonder why We just want to be left alone to live in peace If there’s peace on this earth, we can find it here (we keep looking) In the green mountain high, we don’t wonder why We just want to be left alone to live in peace If there’s peace on this earth, then we can find it here (and I can’t find it) KEEP LOOKING A child A child A child A child (of earth)

about

"Robot Hearts" is a sci-fi themed synth-rock EP about a scientist, an android, and an overwhelming desire to be alone. Heavily synthesized vocals and electronica boosted by a sly nod toward the Pacific Northwest guitar aesthetic spiraling out of control in a break-beat-drum escape pod.
